Social Media Manager

Part-Time Position (10hrs per week)

The People of Palestine is looking for a talented social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content and managing posts. You will manage our image in a cohesive way to spread our stories. As a social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our content creatively. Ultimately you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g.: original text, photos, videos and news)

  • Collaborate with our founder and video editor on content creation and scheduling

  • Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner

Requirements​

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members

Experience

  • Experience in social media and content creation

Video/Podcast Editor

Part-Time Position (10hrs per week)

The People of Palestine is looking for a video/podcast editor to join our team to edit podcast episodes and video content. As a video editor, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling videos that capture the essence of our podcast episodes. 

​

Responsibilities

  • Edit podcast episodes to ensure high-quality audio output

  • Edit podcast episodes into visually compelling videos

  • Ensure high-quality audio and video output

  • Collaborate with our founder to ensure the videos meet our brand standards

Requirements

  • Access to programs such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro

  • Familiarity with editing software such as GarageBand, Adobe Premier, or Final Cut Pro

  • Understanding of basic video editing techniques, including audio editing and transitions

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
